Volunteers & Involvement

Volunteers are vital to the success of First Tee - Four Corners. Without their help, our organization would not be able to thrive and reach as many kids in San Juan County as it does. Whether it be through coaching, registering participants, taking pictures, or administrative work, volunteers are the life-blood of our existence as a Chapter. Each volunteer will be trained in all areas of daily operation and will be given the opportunity to make a difference. Not only is volunteering a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child, it is also an opportunity to better themselves through the wonderful game of golf. This wonderful opportunity is not just available to individuals actively involved in golf, it is for anyone interested in helping children. Whether you are a great golfer or have never played, you will be able to actively participate in the First Tee Life Skills Experience. It all relies on the desire to involve yourself in the lives of children. Since each volunteer will be actively involved with children, extensive background checks will be run on each volunteer. Volunteers will also be required to participate in a volunteer training session, where the basic concepts of First Tee will be passed along. Once these areas have been completed, a questionnaire will be given to find the best match of individual strengths to needs of the organization. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and positively affecting the lives of children, please fill out the application form and email to the contact below.
