First Tee – Four Corners celebrated its 8th Annual Leadership in Action, an event that brings together our outstanding participants and local community leaders for a unique experience centered on mentorship, leadership, and the game of golf.
Leadership in Action provides an opportunity to showcase our participants while giving them a chance to put the life skills they learn through First Tee into practice. Playing alongside community leaders in a relaxed and supportive setting, participants build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop meaningful connections with people who are making a difference in our community.
“Mentorship is a key element of what we teach at First Tee, and Leadership in Action brings that lesson to life,” said Tina Pacheco-White, Executive Director of First Tee – Four Corners. “Our participants have the opportunity to practice their communication and leadership skills while learning from people who are investing in the next generation. Just as importantly, they get to experience firsthand the power of mentorship and what it means to give back to their community.”
