Tina Pacheco-White currently serves as our Executive Director and came to us from San Juan Regional Medical Center where she was the Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator. Tina served on our Board of Directors for many years and was the Board Chair of First Tee – Four Corners before taking her current position as E.D. Tina moved back to her hometown of Farmington 13 years ago. She enjoys being active in the community and has been a part of The Farmington Noonday Civitan Club, and The City of Farmington Community Relations Commission. She has served as president of the McKinley PTO and is a 2006 graduate of Leadership San Juan. She is currently serving on the board of the Farmington Municipal Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence and is active in her church. Tina enjoys camping and hiking with her family and being involved in her two sons’ activities. Tina first learned of First Tee when her oldest son participated in a summer session at Riverview Golf Course. She was so impressed with the message of the 9 Core Values and the positive impact the program had on her child that she chose to get more involved. “It has been very rewarding to be a part this organization, working to create opportunities to teach life skills to kids across San Juan County.”

Thomas Yost, born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, started his career in golf at age 11 through a caddy program. He had a successful high school golf career and proceeded to attend New Mexico State University’s Professional Golf Management Program. He graduated in 1996 and worked throughout the Midwest as an assistant golf professional. In 1997, he obtained PGA professional status and proceeded to move to Farmington, NM in 2000. In January of 2001, he became the Head Golf Professional at Riverview Golf Course. He remained in that position until May of 2005, where he accepted the position as Executive Director of First Tee – Four Corners.  His passion for junior golf and what it teaches the youth in the community is what drives Coach Tom to reach new heights with First Tee.  He was lucky enough to gain the guidance and insight from so many selfless PGA Professionals that he feels it his obligation to PAY FORWARD all that he learned to the future generations of junior golfers.

Coach Tom has been selected by his fellow PGA Golf Professionals as the 2012, 2013, and 2015 Sun Country PGA Section Youth Player Development Award (Junior Golf Leader) Winner and was also named the 2014, 2016, 2020 and 2021 Sun Country PGA Section Player Development Award Winner. He also was the recipient of the 2018 Conrad Rehling Award which is given to a PGA Professional that is dedicated to coaching golf with Special Olympics Athletes. Coach Tom currently serves as the Vice President of the Sun Country PGA Section Board of Directors and coaches boys and girls golf at Piedra Vista High School.

Thomas is married to Kelly and has two children, Quinn (13) and Annie (10).  His family resides in Farmington where he enjoys brewing beer, playing golf and spending time with his family.
